Our class will be having a snack time around 8:30am each day while they work. Please send a dry snack (no yogurt, fruit cups, or spooned items as to cut down on spills and stickyness as students work).

Social Studies Projects
Each child will need a shoe box to complete a diorama in Social Studies this month. Please send any extra shoe boxes you may have too, so we can provide extra if needed. Details will be sent home soon.

2nd Grade Class
My name is Stacy Chapnick. I am very excited to be teaching second grade at Houser Elementary this year! My goal is to teach each student how to be successful in their own way and to show them how they can grow as learners. We will work hard as a classroom community, and we will have much to show for it!

I am a devoted wife and mother of three sweet girls: a 4th grader, a Kindergartener, and a baby! I have a deep heart for children and love teaching like it is what I was born to do. I treat, teach and love my students as they are my own and partner with their parents for the best path to their success. Together, everyone matters, everyone learns, everyone grows!
