What Are We Learning?
This month with will be studying fables texts that employ moral messages as themes.
Students will be locating information in a text, making inferences, and drawing conclusions using evidence to support understanding.​
Literacy
As we work on our writing, we will be reviewing our small moment stories to add detail, talk, movement words, and feeling through the writing process. We will then move into writing how-to books
Writing
Students will learn and practice measurement of length, area and time!
Mathematics
Our young scientists will be studying Earth's resources, both natural and man-made.
Science
Social Studies
Over the next few weeks we will be discussing different types of communities such as urban, suburban and rural. We will also be studying civil rights and how life has changed for Americans throughout history.
Character
We are always building a community in our classroom and consistently encourage good sportsmanship and respect for others.
